It was January 2022 and I was sitting in my bedroom surrounded by boxes as we were due to move at any time (well as soon as the solicitors got everything sorted that is). Then I got a call from Ben.
He had just been offered an amazing job, but it was going to take all his attention and he couldn’t balance the new job, family, and the channel.
Despite it being so much fun, it was a no-brainer and I could not blame him. Obviously, he had to step back from the Channel. I was really happy for him to get this opportunity but gutted at the same time.
He is still hobbying though when he can and you can follow his blog at “Bearded Dad Studio” on Facebook and Instagram.
On the flip side, the best bit of doing this is getting to talk to some amazing people.
You guys are truly awesome. When it is hard, a supportive, inspirational, or encouraging email or video comment nearly always pops up.
Hearing that a video has inspired someone to pick up a project that has been collecting dust, or helped them to solve a problem that had been bugging them for ages…. Or simply that they really enjoyed the video makes it all worthwhile.
